Appearance: Very pale cloudy golden colour, almost looks like lemon juice. Small white fluffy head, and very little carbnation.
Aroma: Quite light on the nose. There is a bit of grain, and sweet maltiness, along side a very subtle sharp lemon.
Taste: The first thing that hits you is a unexpected smokiness, with the peaty taste of a single malt whisky, certainly not what I was expecting. There is a mild citric backbone to the flavours that runs right through, with a little bit of sweetness. The aftertaste is slightly bitter and hoppy.
Mouthfeel: It has a creamy feel and texture to it, with a slight smoothness from the low carbonation.
Drinkability: A nice summer beer with the low alcohol content to allow it to be easily sessioned. A unique test for sure, and very enjoyable.
