Well I am sampling this in a growler but Mentor tells me it filled from a firkin. Little worried about carbonation, but after the first pour no worries anymore.
The beer is chilled and I am sampling with a pint glass. The beer pours a clear amber color with off white fluffy head of 3 cm foaming up nicely. NO carb issues here!!!
Aroma is mild but I detect caramel and some lite floral hops.
First sip reveals a lite body and very fine gentle carbonation. Flavor is again on the mild side with caramel and a bit of bitter hop flavor on the finish. The beer is very easy to drink, super smooth and would be a good session beer! I am stoked to have tried it and excited that the firkin poured beer lasted in the growler!
Thanks Mentor!
