This beer didnt do much in the way of impressing me. Doesnt taste so much like a Flemish brown ale as it does a brown ale brewed with dark cherries.
The beer is a decent dark brown color with a slight ruby hue and a nice white head. Lacing is not too sticky. Carbonation seems decent enough.
The smell reminds me of artificial dark cherries with a bit of a nutty malt aroma. The taste is similar, but with more of a cheap cherry flavor, making it less tolerable.
The body is fairly thin and carbonated for the style. This beer is not for me.
