Pours a golden raisin color leaving a white thin lace. The aroma is fantastic floural, smells like candy, has a strong strawberry smell. The taste is fruity sweet, malty, and a small diacetyl aspect in the beer. I can't get over the strawberry shortcake, and honey aroma, but then the distinct lager characteristcs kick in. It is so smooth and fruity but not overpowering. The hops are faint, but there are many balancing aspects with suttle spices and bitterness. The taste starts off on the palate sweet, followed by a bitter hop appeal that cuts threw the sweetness of this beer making it pleasing to drink.

This hoppy lager pours with a nice head and a medium auburn color. Maybe I'm coming down with a cold, but there was almost no aroma to speak of, but it's the taste that matters, right? With a strong hop flavor and a slight bitterness, this lager reminds me more of an IPA than a lager. A smooth beer that can be enjoyed all night long.
