According to the Nodding Head website, this beer was last brewed in the winter of 2001. This beer poured surprisingly clear for a cask beer. It was a rich amber copper color topped with a small white head. This was a very drinkable strong beer in my opinion. Served at room temperature it was full of complex flavors. Malts and some fermented fruits. There was a hop spiciness there, too. Not too strong to be a sipper and not a session beer, either. Full flavored and drinkable. Very good.
