This beer came a crystal clear pale gold with a thin film of white that left a few strips of lace.
Smells of light pale biscuits, faint tobacco, green grapes and peaches with a dry birch bark edginess. I also get little nips of celery too.
Tastes of white pie crust and... is it over cooked pork? There's also a little dry dusty snap of hops (Sazz or the like, I presume) and finishes with a little birch bark and cardboard. This also left my gums a little tingly.
Feels a little dense for the style as it trapped the carbonation a little.
Crisp and tasty, but heavy.

Clear yellow / orange in color with a 1/2" head. The aroma was of floral hops and grains. The flavor was a nicely balanced as malt and bitterness were the main tones, and a soft hint of citrus finished it out. The malt levels were a bit meatier here, making the tastebuds happy.
This is a light/medium bodied brew, and lightly crisp at the start with a dry finish. Very drinkable as the overall flavor is kicked up a bit more than some other brewpub's versions of the pils.
