Pours a nice bright glowing light orange into the pint glass. Head isn't too active, but that's okay. This one's still pretty.
Aroma is deep herbal cilantro, grapefruit rind, dried orange peel, and more than a little bit of a little sticky-dank-what-have-you. Groovy. Apparently dry-hopped in the serving tank, and this seems just a touch grassy, so who knows -- maybe we're getting towards the end of the tank.
Taste is much fruitier than the aroma would suggest, with fresh citrus (especially sweet orange -- hello, amarillo!), slight peaches and apricots. A bit of the house yeast pops in here, never ovewhelming, but reminding you that this is a Nodding Head beer. The herbal nature comes back at the end of the swallow, which is crisp but not drying. Very clean finish.
Mouthfeel is slow and meandering, but never dull. Too much carbonic acid might have made this harsh.
Drinkability was very good. I was tempted to stick with this all night, but curiosity lead me to make some other stops on the blackboard.
Excellent offering from Nodding Head.

Co-brewed with Tome Arthur from Pizza Port, its a takeoff on the latter's swami IPA. It was dryhopped. Initial very grapefruit juice and a touch of pineapple, overall bitter hoppiness, and dry finish. Quite quaffable. Sample of 5 ounces, but a bit of soap there.
