Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a clear golden color and a modest head that disappears quickly without leaving any lace

Smell: Like a subtle perfume, the lemongrass and ginger are present but not overwhelming

Taste: Biscuity up front, with a honey lemon element that is joined, mid-palate, by the ginger flavor; after the swallow, both ginger and lemongrass flavors linger, but the finish is otherwise crisp and clean

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with low to moderate carbonation

Drinkability: Other than the lack of carbonation, this is a refreshing and interesting summer beer

This beer was light golden like sunshine. It had a white fluffy head. It smelled lemony (not like cleaner though), a little sweet and gingery. The "fore" taste wa lemony and the aftertaste was ginger. This was a light beer, but not a thin beer.

An asian influenced blonde lager you say? Well. Okay. Pours a clear straw. White head. Odd nose. Ahh. I get it. Asian influenced. Lemongrass and ginger in the mix. Full flavor from it that rescues it from being just another boring ass lager. Feel is smooth on carbonation and better than average on the liquid. Overall the lemongrass and ginger make it quite an interesting brew. I like it.

Appearance: clear pale yellow in color with a 1/2" head that quickly fell to a spotty surface foam. A spot or two of lace developed.

Smell: ginger and grass are the lone aromas but they work out to be quite pleasant.

Taste: ginger is quite bold here. Lemon zest, grass, and a soft bitterness round it out. This beer would compliment any dish with ginger in it, but having it as a stand alone beer it grows a bit tiresome.

Mouthfeel: crisp at the start and finish. Very short ginger laden aftertaste. Light-medium in body.

Drinkability: not a beer you can drink several of as the ginger begins to numb the tastebuds. Definitely would be a killer beer paired with the right dish.

Appearance: Pale gold in color, with perhaps a slight greenish tinge. Slight bubbles around the edge from the pour.

Smell: sharp smell of lemongrass and ginger, with a slight malt aftersmell

Taste: Intial ginger taste, with hints of lemon after. Finishes with a spice.

Mouthfeel: Light beer, not too much mouthfeel to speak of

Drinkability: FABULOUS...I can't say enough about the drinkability of this beer. Its a perfect summer brew, although I could drink it all year long. Works well with burgers, fries, wings, or pretty much anything.

Served in a pub glass. Pale clear yellow with slight greenish hue, light body, small, thin cream colored head that dissipates quickly. Lightly carbonated. Very slight lacing in glass after drinking.

This beer smells great. Strong ginger and lemongrass, milder malty, toasty yeast, and citrus smells.

This beer has a much milder flavor than what it smells like it is going to have. Malty, sweet ginger flavor mainly, with the lemongrass and citrus on the mid-back finish. Slight dry, hoppy finish. It all work very well together and is quite refreshing.

It really didn't have much of a mouthfeel, other than that of a light bodied beer. Not oily or clingy, but not watery either. This beer is highly drinkable. Very easy to drink and sessionable. I think this beer would pair nice with any oriental food or complement a burger and fries. I would really like to have some of this at home for a nice, light, tasty "summer" beer.

The beer was served in a pub glass.

Appearance: The beer has a clear straw yellow coloration. The beer has a off white head. The head has minimal retention. The beer leaves behind speckles on my glass.

Smell: The beer has very pleasing toasted maltyness. The beer has a great combo of ginger and lemongrass.

Taste: The taste is almost a let down compared to the smell. The beer has a pleasing maltyness. The maltyness is dominated by the ginger and lemon grass flavors.

Mouthfeel/ Drinkability: The beer has a light body. The beer is well carbonated. The beer would be a great accompliament to a spicy thai meal. This beer was very good and I drank a couple glasses of it.

Crystal clear, light gold colour topped by a white head. Spotty lacing composed of fine bubbles was left on the glass for the first half pint. Light, toasty malt in the aroma with citrusy, lemongrass and light ginger spiciness. Malty sweet to start with low bitterness. Lemongrass came forward in the mid, followed by a hint of spice in the finish. Light bodied and refreshing. An interesting flavour combination that works well and isn't overbearing.
