Wow- a very tasty Double IPA. Poured a cloudy light amber with a great looking head- sticky bread aromas with a slight hop burn on the nose at first. Surprisingly sweet, almost a wine-like character and sparingly hopped with some very nice spicy, piney hops. Mild flavors but definately a double, as the complexity of flavors swirls around the tongue. Nutty malt finish with a slight hop aftertaste. Great brew, gains major points for drinkability; such a potent ale, but extremely easy to down a few at a time.
