This was the result of a collaborative effort between Gordon Grubb of Nodding Head and no less than Hildegard Van Ostaden of Urthel! (Shakes head in amazement).

I was VERY lucky to get in while it was till on, although it is now long kicked. the menu listed it as "Served unfiltered", and yet it had NE-quality clarity! It arrived with a finger's worth of bone-white head with moderate retention. The nose had a faint hoppiness underlain by a yeasty mustiness. Urthel was stamped all over this bad boy. The color was a deep golden-yellow. The mouthfeel was medium with a great burst of hops on the tongue. The finish was bone-dry. The interaction of the hops and yeast was perfect. I had a second and then moved on, wanting to allow others to get a taste.
