On Tap at Nodding Head in a nice heavy pint glass.
This Belgian blond IPA goes into the glass a very bright yellow color with some faded bronze spots woven in. The head is very big and lasting and has some legs. About a inch and a half of bright white, new baby teeth colored foam that sits on top and leaves some smudge spots. Smell is bright with some floral hops and grassy scents. Not overly grassy or vegetal which is a plus. A nice mellow Belgian yeast strain that imparts a yeasty/bready vibe. Smell of lemongrass, tangerine, and slight hay make this one up. A nice pungent smelling beer. Taste is fresh. It does not get any fresher than this. A Belgian blond with character without being over the top. Floral notes mixing in with earth and some bitter hoppings. Lemon taste with a bready quality in the middle. Baked bread. A nice bitter aftertaste stays for a while. The feel on this is pretty much light and the carb is a bit prickly. This is a great quaffer, A pint of this would be no problem and I would go back for more. I wished Nodding Head did growlers because this is one to take home and sit down and watch a football game. I hope they sour this up in a barrel or something.

A: golden color with a standard head and small lacing.
S: mostly floral hops and some earthy tones, then a bit of malt.
T: decently bitter with some earthy and malty taste, but not much there for an IPA.
M: good carbonation and medium body allow this to be crisp and balanced still
O: drinkable, but not fantastic. Still good to drink, and glad to have gone to the place.

Had at Nodding Head on 12/31/11. Labeled as a blonde IPA on the beer menu.
A: Hazy gold in color with a small white head with poor retention and lacing.
S: Hop forward with floral and citrus hops upfront, lemon, and biscuits in the back.
T: Floral hops upfront, fruity pebbles, froot loops, lemon. Hop forward and moderately bitter.
M: Light-Medium bodied, nicely carbonated.
O: Overall this a good sessionable IPA that's more suitable for summer.
