This beer could stand a little polish. It has a soft, downy head with a full wall of lace, and the color is a beautiful translucent garnet. But the malts are in short supply for an amber, creating a beer that drinks like seltzer water with a sharp bittering complex. Aspen Point yields no odor until agitated when a pungent yeasty fume emerges from the mix.
Im tossing this fish back in the sea, for it tastes like homebrew and the aftertaste is pushing me away.
