Pours clear light golden copper into a glass from a bottle. Offwhite head is small, frothy and creamy and lingers on the surface.
Aroma is slightly cidery with some malt character. The flavour follows on from the nose with a toffee like maltiness, some red apple, and sweet grain.
Feels light-medium, low carbonation and slightly oily.
Nice malty pilsner, easy drinking and sessionable.

A bright orange tainted amber colour that looks quite lively with plenty of bubbles rising to the surface. There is a foamy white head on top that is about two fingers width tall that manages to stay for a good few minutes then only starts to reduce in size as I start to drink it.
Hoppy to begin with, there is a definite yeast aroma and some lager malts. There is some background fruits and a fair amount of orange coming through with a little spice thrown in for good measure.
Starting out with slightly too much yeast and floral hops. There is a good citrus flavour in there with some orange and spice. I could also detect some biscuit malts and it is all rounded off with a medium amount of bitter.
Medium in body with a citrus tang around the middle and a bitter finish together with mild carbonation for a pilsner making it probably moderate overall.
I wasn't a huge fan to begin with but once it settled down I began to enjoy it, although there was an almost skunky flavour lingering on and again throughout that stopped it from scoring higher. Good but not a memorable one or one that I'd seek out again.

Cask cond. at the NI CAMRA fest
Pours with a hazy yellow body, bit of chill haze and before it settles is pretty crazy in that pint glass, fairly creamy head with good retention
Smell, hints of yeast, some pils hops mabye saaz, quite floral
Taste, low carbonation, some fairly crisp hop flavours, some bitterness and a slight hint of yeast on the finish
A really refreshing version of the style
