Pours jet black with some fine light brown foam.
Smell is sweet with notes of vanilla and chocolate backed up by hints of red berries and some fudge.
Taste is roasty with a slightly tart tinge to it and notes of berrries. Coffee, chocolate and some bitterness are also present. Nowhere near as crazy as I thought it would be.
Mouthfeel is thin to medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a beer that doesn't quite live up to it's description. Too thin and and a bit one dimensional for such a big beer.
