Collaboration with Other Half Brewing Co.
Hops: Ella T90, Citra Cryo, Idaho 7 T90, Denali T90
A transatlantic DIPA brewed with New York’s superb OTHER HALF. Peerlessly soft bodied with a grist built up of extra pale Bamburg Pilsner malt, chit and variant oat flakes. Juiced up to paramount levels of tropical crush with Ella, Enigma, Idaho 7 and Denali distributing deep notes of pineapple, papaya and mango and soaring high notes of lime, lemon and orange zest.

CAN
Bright milky tan with tight foam; fresh pineapple, resin, rosemary, and lemon hard candy on the nose; more bright lemon up front, some white melon, slight dank, lime peel, honeydew rind, + a super pineapple-y finish; soft + slightly salty.

Ella, Citra, Idaho 7 and Denali
This is a weird one: can says Citra, commercial description says Enigma. Either way, interesting hop bill: Denali pineapple, Idaho 7 lemon, and Ella tropical fighting it out. As it plays out, Citra weighs in behind the Idaho 7 to bring big citrus + wild weediness - almost like melted Italian ice. But there’s plenty more going on, and it’s different in every sip. Smooth, bright, fresh, juicy, and fun.
Closer to OH than Wylam, and that’s saying a lot.

Pours a hazy, opaque, deep golden yellow coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smells of bright and juicy tropical fruits: mango, passion fruit, papaya, with a hint of grass and biscuity malt. Taste, follows the nose, being dominated by sweet and juicy, but also slightly acidic tropical fruits: mango, passion fruit, papaya, with lighter, somewhat zesty citrus fruits: grapefruit, lime and hints of a light grassy dankness and biscuity malt. Finishes with a medium bitterness, light hop bite and some tropical/citrus notes lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This just has a great balance of sweet and juicy as well as somewhat zesty and acidic tropical/citrus notes going on, topped off by a light dankness and noticeable bitterness with a light, pleasant hop bite. While the mouthfeel is quite soft and wispy, it does unfortunately lack that pillowy, fluffy quality that I've experienced from beer brewed solely by Other Half.
