Copenhagen 29/10 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Black silhouette traversing a snowy plain with mountains in the background on the can.
Pours hazy, opaque, dirty yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, fermented odor of exotic fruit soon overpowered by a stronger citric scent. Peach and papaya. Citrus, mustard, grape fruit. Boozy notes chiming in.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a fairy strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Intense and potent DIPA not hiding it's ABV. Finely balanced between the sweet and boozy and the bitter citrus fruit.
