This one was drunk in company, so my notes are perfunctory at best. I grabbed it from the old man's fridge and drank it in January 2025.
L: Ultra clear, light golden straw-yellow with a thin rim of head and a small number of very large bubbles in the glass. It looks like a macro lager.
S: Whoa! Anyone for lime? There's a hint of sweet malt but then big, big notes of artificial lime.
T: Sooooo sweet... There's nothing but big notes of washing detergent lime with a long, sweet finish. The sweetness becomes cloying as the beer warms. I couldn't finish this one.
M: Very mildly carbonated with a fuzzy, sherbet-like mouthfeel.
O: This one likely has its place on a hot day for a drinker who doesn't like bitterness. But other than that, there is no other excuse to drink this.
Cheers!

Miller Brewing Company beers are brewed under license in Australia, by Coopers Brewery, but distributed around Australia by Good Drinks Australia. Not sure how that works but anyway.
Not sure if this is sold in the US. There's another Millers flavoured beer Blood Orange (review after this one) that I think is exclusive to Australia?
Anyway, if you believe the marketing, this is the most popular flavoured beer in Australia. It's trying to compete with XXXX Summer Gold, the Corona market (beer, not the virus...), women (sexist? Well it's true) and those who don't drink beer.
They claim its made with real lime; just like XXX Summer Gold Lime. Whether that's true or not, I have my suspicions, but at best it's probably rehydrated lime extract. I can't see trackballs of fresh lines being delivered and squeezed into beer vats.
Vessel: 330ml clear glass bottle. Yellow and green label. Green because it's lime flavoured. Purchased at Glenfield Bottle Shop in late December, drunk a few weeks later in mid-Jan. Best before is 31 May 2024.
Appearance: Looking ide tidal to a Miller Genuine Draft. Straw Golden, completely filtered, lots of carbonation. The head disappears even faster than it did before. Poured violently, and just no head retention whatsoever.
Aroma: Could smell the sweet lime from the moment I started pouring it. It's lime and syrup. Sweet and Sugary. Maybe a little lemonade-esque. I already know this is going to be too sweet for my liking. Can't smell any hops or anything other than sugary sweetness
Taste: It's not as sweet as XXXX Gold Summer lime, but definetly a Lemonade shandy vibe going on. Like MGD, there is a bitterness, bordering on acidicness to the beer. It's not unpleasant, but does seem out of place.
Feel: Light, thin, heavily carbonated.
Overall: Whilst it's not horrendously sweet, it's sugary enough that more than 1 or 2 of these would be too many. I don't mind an actually Lemonade shandy on the odd occasion, but this is too fake to be considered natural. It's for those who don't like the taste of beer. Give me a Corona with a wedge of actual lime anyway over this. Again, not horrible, but not excellent either.
