In Australia, Miller beers are brewed under license by Coopers, but distributed by Good Drinks Australia. Not sure how that works, but according to marketing the Miller Chill range are the most drunk flavoured beer in Australia.
Not too sure what to expect from Blood Orange flavoured beer. Outrageous sweetness I expect.
Vessel: 330ml stubbie. Clear glass bottle, orange and red label. Best before appears to be 7 July 2023. Purchased at Glenfield Bottle Shop in late December. Drunk a few weeks later on 19 January.
Appearance: Clear Golden lager appearance. Small soft drink/soda like head that fades into Obscurity quicker than a head should.
Aroma: Sweet syrupy sugaryness, with an artificial orange smell. Smells a bit like Fanta.
Taste: Sweet orange. Takes like Fanta/Sunkist/Orange soda. No bitterness or hop character, or Nothing beer related. It's beer lollywater. Back end of the sip is watery and bland.
Feel: Super highly drinkable in large qualities. You could knock back bottle after bottle after bottle. It's fizzy and thirst quenching when thirsty. Bit like soft drink soda.
Overall: If you like beer, and the different flavours, bitterness, and hops of beer, you won't like this. It's lolleywater.
If you don't like beer, and you like Sweet lolleywater, this is for you.
