Sample brought to me via by brother. Many thanks.
Aroma is very light malt with a touch of hops. Mostly simple pils malt.
Light amber of gold color. Water clear. Nice white head with some stamina.
Not a bold flavor like traditional bocks. Malty but lighter, sweet and consistent throughout the drink. No roast, and closer to fruity. Mild bitterness that increases as it warms. Simple.
Fully carbonated. Satisfactory feel. Warmth from alcohol.
Simple and easy to drink, in spite of the elevated alcohol. Best when colder. Almost seems like a fortified pils, but has qualities of a Maibock.
