The colour is pale gold (7 EBC), the liquid is clear. Three finger off-white compact head sinks slowly leaving no lacing.
The smell is sweet with lots of smooth alcohol. French loaf, hints of marzipan and some clean bitter flavours.
The taste is smooth, not at all that rough and alcoholic as expected. Semi-sweet malt, hints of Irish whiskey. Hints of rye bread and marzipan. Medium body. The aftertaste got fine clean bitter flavours, some oak/wood-barrel notes. It is smooth and balanced with some alcohol and almonds (booth bitter and sweet). The long finish is smooth and a bit dry with warming alcohol.
The carbonation is medium to mild, the many mid-sized bubbles are fresh. The liquid is semi-smooth and a little sticky.
One of the better 7 %+ Danish pale lagers I have had. No rough off-flavours and no sharp alcohol.
