Sea Bird shines like amber in the sun and smells fresh of fruit. An India Pale Ale with generous maltiness, which in its taste is bittersweetly combined with the citrus and spruce of the hops.
Sea Bird is hopped with American Cascade aroma hops. For dry hopping during aging we use English East Kent Golding hops.

Copenhagen 7/9 2019. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Fuglsangs usual design with the silhouette of a singing bird sitting on a branch this time in blueish green.
Pours unclear amber with a small white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam just managing to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, malty sweet and with a dusty bitterness lurking in the background. Caramel, Toffee and Peach. Light notes of citric bitterness.
Light carbonation. Soft, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is rather sweet followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter sweet. Lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish.
Decent English style IPA. Quite on the sweet side. Could use a bit of extra bitterness.
