Pours a very dark coffee-red with a light khaki head that isn't too large. The aroma is typical big malty lager aroma. The flavor is interesting however. The dominant flavor is brown sugar and the flavor is sugary indeed. It's definitely on the sweet side, especially for a lager. A little wood and such mixed in there as well. If they'd dry it up a bit, it probably wouldn't be too bad, but right now it's too sweet.
