Quite close to the Icelandic drink "malt" in flavour. A lovely, casual beer for the holidays.

12 oz bottle, capped.

Pours a dark brown-red, somewhat chestnut in color. Clear with a sudsy, light brown foam that settles slowly but leaves some lace on the glass. The aroma is strong: sweet, malty, grain husks, mollasses, and caramel. The taste is sweet and malty, but not much hops if any, and kind of one dimensional, like a malt soft drink. The mouthfeel is sweet and smooth with medium body and low carbonation feel. Malty flavors throughout, and they linger. This is an OK beer, but a bit sweet and monotone.
