On-tap at the brewpub.
Pours a hazy golden color with a 1.5-finger white head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving decent lacing.
Smells of light malts with solid amounts of spices - coriander mostly with others that are indistinct. Also present, and more prevalent as the beer warms, are light fruit aromas - pears with hints of bananas.
Tastes similar to how it smells. Crisp light malt flavors kick things off and are joined quickly by light fruit flavors. The fruit flavors are composed of pears and bananas as with the smell but also have good amounts of honey. Midway through the sip hints of spices come in - coriander with clove - before fading back out to let the honey and light fruit flavors carry through to a crisp and lightly tart ending.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a solid thickness with moderate carbonation.
Drinkability is very good. I finished my glass quickly and could easily have another.
Overall the complexity of this beer was what kept me taking more and more sips. The fruit flavors all blend nicely while managing to not be overpowering, making this one well worth a shot.
