This is a summer beer, ideal for those who have not yet started in the world of craft beer. Made largely with wheat, which represents the agriculture that exists in Mexicali, our origin.

At kilometer 57 our story is told, next to the river that challenges the desert until we reach the SEA OF CORTES, where our tribe lives. By nature we are nomads, the one who comes and goes, no matter where we are, we belong to the Cucapá tribe.

Went to Mexico bought it at a Supermarket called Soriana. I didn't know Mexico started doing craft beer but there is called "Cerveza Artesanal." Recently learned the Cucapa Brewery was bought by Grupo Modelo, but being as Mexico has a duopoly on the Beer market nothing new. Don't know for all the "Craft beer purist" is this beer would be considered craft now since a Beer conglomerate owns it.

L: Light yellow, small head

S: Citrous

T: Citrous taste light on the malt

F: Light to medium

O: First Mexican Kolsh beer a taste although taste more like a light vienna lager.

The 2nd most commercial beer from Cucapa's lineup.

This one is very refreshing and somewhat tasty, I'm more a dark beer guy, but this one worths the try.

Thanks to peg and Dave for this one. 355ml bottle poured into 14oz teku. Poured a very murky dark orange color, with just a thin ring of white head that had no retention or lace. Looks unlike any Kolsch I've ever seen before.

Very sweet malts dominated the scent, with virtually no hop presence. The flavor also lacked hops, and the sweetness of the malt dominated, leaving a lingering sweetness on the palate.

The body was also unlike any Kolsch I've met, much thicker, and sticky on the finish. Drinkability suffered due to the thickness. Overall, I found this closer to a lighter colored, more cloudy Vienna Lager than a Kolsch. Maybe it tastes better on the beach?
