An extremely dark mahogany brown, almost black in appearance. Thin tan head. Smells of freshly roasted espresso. Taste is a bit of smooth coffee flavors up front, followed by some sweet toffee, finishing with a mellow milk chocolate finish. A hint of hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is rich, nice low carbonation. Super smooth drinking yet flavorful stout. A very good example of the style.
