Dark coloured beer, not foaming or bubbling when poured. Smell is abit like well brewed sima (mead). Taste is overall even and does not provide any special taste experiences. More like a basic beer.

FINNISH: Tumman värinen olut, ei vaahtoa kaadettaessa eikä kupli. Haju tuo mieleen hyvin käyneen siman. Maku on tasainen kautta linjan, eikä oikein mitään suuria makuelämyksiä tule. Menee perusoluen luokkaan.

It's hard to translate and fully know what is said on the bottle but this is the google translation verbiage:
Seth is a beautifully reddish 3 grain lager beer, to malt and rye frame to pick up wheat and folds longs, and a mild hop bite.

My review:
It is a fair beer overall not bad and not exceptional. I would order it again if I tried all the other beers here in Helsinki. The looks is clear and more of a pale lager than a red lager. The head disappears rapidly but creates a solid foam. Lasts less than a second and reach the goal of a 1/4 inch. The smell I have is construed by strong espressos around me so I cannot fully appreciate the nose. More and more attempts fail at obtaining a nose because of the strong coffees and espressos around me. That is what I get on a -30 degree Celsius day. No one wants a cold beverage. Taste is bitters and a crispy bite with burnt grains. Burnt toast. After taste is clean but bitter and dry. Not much going on with a chew to bring out new flavors. I am looking for some sweet notes but all I am finding is bitters. No sweet grains just burnt grains. Mouth feel is light and smooth and is everything I look for in mouthfeel with a lager. Overall fair for my taste and wants but they also took some unusual risks compared to a lot of European lagers.
