Gold in color with lots of minimal sediment suspended within the body. There's a fingernail of dishwater white resting on top. The aroma is of light malt, corn, and pineapple. I'm tasting corn, light malt, and pineapple. The mouth is very light, quaffable, and smooth.

great beer! its nice to see a quality american made pils, there arent enough of these. this beer is dubbed a new zealand style pils, which i suppose refers to the hops in here, but i didnt find the beer particularly hoppy, although there is a little of that juicy fruity complexion we associate with the now famous new zealand varietals. its pleasingly restrained in so many ways, the malt is light and crisp and really fresh, and the lager yeast contributes some flavor too. grassy and fruity in the end, with a front loaded biscuity malt base, european but so fresh compared to any imports we see here, and with just a bit more body as well that really pushes it into the beer drinkers session beer sort of range i like to call it, you know, high quality craft beers in traditional styles that are high volume slammers, this certainly meets my criteria for that! less hop bitterness than a lot of these have, instead with the southern hemisphere juiciness, a nice substitute. fluffy in feel too, like a cloud, well carbonated too from the tap. this is a great beer and it should do well for them. i had it fresh on tap at their new brewery, which is a gorgeous facility worth checking out. this is great beer on the whole, one of the better american made pils types ive had in awhile, and unique enough to be memorable. the best beer i have had from these guys so far...

Pours a clear gold color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and poor lacing. Smells of strong pale malt, sweet malt, slight yeast, hint of hops, and a hint of tea. Fits the style of an German Pilsner. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong pale malt, sweet malt, wheat, slight yeast, hint of hops, and a hint of tea. Overall, weak appearance, decent aroma, feel, and body.

From a green can, this brew has a clear golden complexion. The head is tall and white. The aroma is lightly malty with a spicy, sharp hop background. The taste is notably bitter...classic pislener, with cracker and bread malt flavors as well. Clean and bitter, spicy hop finish. Wonderful.
