Pours a black color. 6/4 inch head of a tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of roasted malt, maple syrup, slight sweet malt, and a hint of hop. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, maple syrup, slight roasted malt, hint of chocolate, and a hint of oatmeal. Overall, the maple is a great addition, but the beer as a whole is too sweet.
