No matter which BJ's you walk into, you can expect good pizza and good beer. BJ's Laguna Hills is large inside, with a sizable bar to suit. Not only are there sports on TV behind the bar, a large selection of taps as well to suit nearly every taste. BJ's has much of it covered already, Tatonka Stout, Piranha Pale Ale, and seasonal Abbey Normal. If BJ's beers aren't your thing, you can always get a bottled Chimay and Sculpin, or a pour of Union Jack and Hangar 24 Orange Wheat. Standard shaker pints were being utilized for most of the beers, but I did see a chalice utilized for BJ's Double IPA.
Come here for lunch, where you not only get good food, but good value for money. I had a personal pizza with a bowl of chili, plus a pint of Hopstorm IPA, totaling under $12 before tip! The service matches the food as well. Sure, BJ's is commonplace, but I have yet to have a bad experience at any one I've visited.

BJ's is a nice pizza brew pub with an very commercial atmosphere.
Hand crafted pizza's are excellent and the service is generally wonderful.
Beers are good although the selection could be improved upon. I can never seem to get there when they have what I want on tap. Seasonal and specialty brews are often surprising and excellent. Extensive selection of bottled Belgiums also available, however, and Pirrat is always on tap. Generally they have a weekly Cask brew and a weekly specialty or seasonal brew.
Most beers could be improved with proper aging and the proper temperature for the type of beer being served rather than the 'one temp - all brews" philosophy so common to brew pubs.

This BJ's is located just west of I-5 off El Toro Road at Laguna Hills Mall. Along with the standard lineup of BJ's brews (Tatonka, Jeremiah...) this location usually has some unique beers on tap that it's brewer made. In the times I've been their, they've had 'special' dunkelweizen's, witbiers and IPA's. These are well worth trying. They also always have something on cask. This is a nice place for dinner and a beer. It's kid-friendly. The food & service are both good.
This place gets very crowded Friday & Saturdays, so get there early.

A converted Gordon Biersch, this unit has not only found new life...it is a virtual oasis in Laguna Hills. Located just west of the I-5 Freeway, this location boasts the usual used brick, dark wood, and wide open layout that is signature BJ's.
The beer offerings are standard, a Blonde, Hefe, Pale, Porter, and Stout and all are very good on their own merit. The brewers specials at this location, however, tend to be very, very nice lagers, and fans of the style will not be disappointed.
The bottled beer selection is currently in flux, but generally contains Orval, Kwak, Delerium Tremons and a couple different Chimay's. A different house cask is tapped every Thursday at five o'clock.
Food is upscale continental and always very good with large portions. The menu pricing runs between good value and a bit pricey...depemding on your selections.
Service has always been top-notch and the bar also sports a full liquor selection.
