Formerly known as Dundee Export Scotch Ale
Our Dundee Scotch Ale begins with a traditional sweetness and finishes with a full, malty flavor. Don’t be fooled by the dark color—this beer is delicious and surprisingly easy to drink.

Gift from my parents trip out west. First Nebraska beer!
Not heavy and sweet as I was hoping for a Scotch Ale.
Decent, but I'll give it a pass. Aroma is nice, taste is alright.

On tap at the brewery, in a tulip/pint glass.
Look: Dark brown, with a slight tan head that dissipated quickly and left a foam ring with adequate lacing.
Ode: Caramel, dark fruit, milk chocolate, a hint of peat.
Mouthfeel: Medium thick, maybe a bit too much carbonation.
Attack: The carbonation rather overwhelms the malt, which would otherwise be pretty nice, though not as complex as the nose.
Finish: Some bitterness to balance.
Overall: The look and nose had me thinking this brew is underrated, but the carbonation masks too much of the flavor, which brings the Overall rating down.

On tap. Poured a dark, black color with a very small, white head of foam. It smelled of roasted malt, toffee and earthiness. Nice smokey flavor with toffee, roasted malt and hints of peat.
