On tap at Upstream in the Old Market. Omaha, NE. December 22nd, 2011.
Back in Omaha to visit the in-laws, so I'm back in the Old Market at Upstream with my father-in-law and brother-in-law.
A: The beer poured a deep red color with a thin head of white foam. There was a small but steady stream of bubbles that rushed from the bottom up to the surface. Medium lacing was present and clung to the sides of the glass.
S: Very strong Cascade citrus hop aroma with nice herbal notes of tea and rye lingering in the background.
T: Flavorful mix of citrus hops, malt and rye. There is a slight tea note in the aftertaste that really balances things well.
M: Nice medium body and mouthfeel. Slightly dry but nothing overpowering for an IPA.
O: I really enjoyed this. So much that I had two pints of it. Easily the best thing I've had at Upstream in the 8 years that I've been coming to Omaha now.

Pours a clear, copper color. 1/3 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of hops, sweet malt, and rye. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of hops, strong rye, slight sweet malt, and florals. Overall, great appearance, good mouth feel, and good blend.
