On tap at the brewery, served in a 12-oz goblet.
Look: Very dark brown, with little head but a ring of brown-gold foam.
Nose: Dark roast, coffee, bourbon, chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Medium, just a bit thinner than I would expect, perfect carbonation.
Attack: There’s a lot going on, everything in the nose, and some sweetness.
Finish: Bitterness to balance, alcohol warms going down.
Overall: This is a very nice sipper, lots of complexity. Very glad I ordered it, and I’d look forward to ordering it again.
