(Served in an American pint glass)
A- The body is a black that lets a little light through as a nice creamy off-white head forms on top. To dark a body to see if any carbonation but the head lasted for a bit.
S- The light smell of roasted barley is blended with a dark roasted malt with a slight sweetness.
T- The taste of roasted malt is blended with a slight coffee taste from the barley. The finish has a tangy quality with a faint nugget taste from the malt extract.
M- The mouthfeel is medium-light but it has a watery texture to it.
D- This beer is dark but it really lacks the complexity of toasted and roasted malt to go with the dark roasted barley. It really needs some layers and a thicker mouthfeel to make it a stout.
