Pours a dark black coffee color with the classic nitro creamy tan head. Smells of roasted coffee, tosted malt, maybe a faint bakers chocolate, and just the faintest possible hint of soy. Nice thick malty flavor, bakers chocolate, and robust coffee. Mouthfeel is very creamy and full bodied. The brewery calls this a dry irish stout, so i was expecting a bit drier than it ended up being. It was really good, not too heavy, not too light. It'd be relatively easy to have a couple of these....

Excellent beer! Taste is very reminiscent of how Guinness tastes straight from Ireland. US Guinness is not the same...:( Very malty, yet no bitter or stale aftertaste, very smooth, easy to drink stout. Very nice head and smell, I just wish that the taste would linger longer in the mouth.

This brew is very tasty. Pours a dark brown/black in color, nice carbonation, huge head, and tons of lacing afterwards. Scents of sweet malts, toffee, and caramel/chocolate. The taste was absolutely great of chocolate/toffee, and sweet malts. Medium body. Very drinkable. This was one of the best stout's on nitro I've had, very enjoyable to drink. Highly recommended.
