Draught pint at the Owl Bar in Sundance, Utah. A bit thin for a "robust" porter.

Poured in an English pint in about 50 degrees.
Appearance-There was a half finger head. the color of the beer was a dark deep brown oily black. The head dissipate to a quarter inch tan ring with some of the head present floating on the top. The Clarity is opaque. There was a lot of lacing on the glass. Nose rich roast black malt. There is coffee, chocolate, some hints of molasses and fruity esters. Taste- a roasted malt the coffee is more pronounced followed by chocolate anise. There is notes of citrus, dried dark fruit, and catruse.
Overall - A very smooth Robust Porter. The mouth feel is creamy and a bit astringent. The finish is slightly better and lingers on the Palate. A decent beer, the Porter is thin but not watery.

Pours a dark brown in color, nice carbonation, nice creamy tan head, tons of lacing through out the drink. Scents of roasted malts, slight yeast, and toffee/caramel/chocolate. The taste is thick and malty, nice chocolate/toffee aftertaste, a bit dry in the finish. Medium body, well rounded brew. Drinkable, nice job on this one, highly recommended.
