22 oz bottle provided as a reward for my GABF volunteering efforts...this was a bottle left over after completion of the competition. Pours a one finger nearly white head over a brilliant light straw liquid. Smells mild earthy hops with a little bit of tin and gentle zing. Honey sweetness and noticable malt. Some creamed corn of DMS. Nice, but not to style, IMO.
Tastes sharp hop flavor with stong peppery zing and supporting malt sweet underneath. Hops are quite grassy, earthy, and herbal. Almost a coriander flavor to it. Finish is sharp from grassy hops and a drying effect from the carbonation. DMS is present late as a slick feel and creamed corn. The malt comes across a little bit like cookie dough, almost a gingerbread cookie dough. Nice stuff. Md-light mouthfeel with strong fine carbonation. Decent beer.
