Hoppers Irish Baghandler isn't actually an Irish Red, its Hoppers Rockwell Porter and Irish Red blended together.

Growler and pint glass.

Color is somewhere between red and black. No head really to speak of, lacing ok.

Smell: toasted malts, grain, metallic, bitters. Amber smells and porter smells both hit the nostrils equally.

Taste lines up with the smell. Hop grain bitterness. No real aftertaste, good or bad. Finishes clean, not drying at all.

Mouthfeel is smooth and pretty light-to-medium for a darker offering.

Drinkability is ok, it doesn't taste bad but it isn't my favorite style. A good representation of what an Irish Red/Porter mix would taste like.
