Not sure who brought this one... I think Mikey.. but Dallas may have.. either way, cool to meet you fellas... Very cool label, and I am a label whore ;-)
Pours with a thin white head... clear deep orange brew verging on good red.
Nose is nice deep biscuit malts.. decent caramel and pronounced earthy hops.. big boned across the shoulders... fruity esters make me think dark cherries and maybe dried apricot...
Flavor has all the above elements yet seems very "American", but no problem for me.. just everything is "bigger"... good hop bitterness yet the hops are grassy and earthy and melt into the yeasty fruits and grainy/toasty malts.
Not too sure how "authentic" this is, but it is definitely drinkable and shows no EtOH... I like it quite a bit.... Glad I got a chance to try it.
Mikey... if you are reading this... I WILL STEAL YOUR SHOES NEXT TIME!!! Sorry, now it is a challenge, I will leave you some Japanese Flip-flops. :-)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
