Though its alcohol content is unknown, my server at Hazel Dell informs me that this summer seasonal is their lightest ale. It is bright sunny yellow with a slight haze and shows ample carbonation, lots of lace, and the soft pillowy head characteristic of Hazel Dell's beers. It places no emphasis on aroma and is reasonably clean compared to other beers of similar design.
Honey Ale's overall temperament is modest in scope, but its casual wash of honey sweetness is not without charm and the beer effectively delivers summertime refreshment value.
