Pours a golden colour, slight haze with nice medium crown of cream-coloured foam atop it. Nice IPA look.
Smells tangy, with lots of fruity and citric hop character. Grapefruit and lemon dominate, with a touch of tropical passionfruit underlying. Not nearly as much as I expected, from the name and the pedigree of the brewery.
Taste is nice enough. Smooth malty front descends quickly into big hop character, mostly lemon with a touch of grapefruit. Mildly bitter on the finish but again not nearly as much character as expected, although resinous bitterness hangs on for a bit longer. Surprisingly subtle. Seems muted, even.
Decent body, nice tingle from carbonation, not bad.
I expected an almost unbelievable impact from the hops, so to get something more muted and drinkable is somewhat disappointing. Not a bad drop by any means though.

Another beer brewed for GABS and pours a hazed orange amber hue with a subtle two finger head and clingy lacing, the smell like the name states is strong citrus and some candy malts pretty straight forward nothing spectacular but nothing wrong with it either, the feel is smooth with moderate carbonation and a medium body and suits with tastes of tangerine, blood orange, candy malts and finished with a strong uber bitterness that's right up there but maybe a little too bitter for my liking and overall apart from the bitter finish it's not bad cheers.
