On tap at The Brass Tap (Tampa).
Opaque and essentially black in the glass but with ruby highlights. Excellent lacing leaves the glass about 95% coated.
Aroma: Sweet and woody and boozy, surprising me because I didn't know this was a whisky barrel aged ale. Dark roasted grains mix in nicely. Well done!
Flavor: delicious; very lightly sweet. Mild but lingering aftertaste featuring Willet Bourbon barrel aging.
Feel: smooth and soft of 10.3%, partially due to the oatmeal, I suspect.
O: excellent RIS with plenty, but not too much, whisky barrel additions.
