got to try this one over at barcade on tap i guess they get the rare sixpoint brews for their nj location and are making them their old ones they used to make back in the day
looks like this is a west coast amber style although it says east coast amber i wonder what the difference is anyways it is indeed amber in color with a big old creamy head on it kind of hazy underneath
man the smell was pure grapefruit and citrus flavors in there also i got some crazy lemon sorbet thing going on and underneath like cotton candy wow crazy
big hop punch right in your face on this one it appears they did not hold back with the hops which is good exactly how i like it
mouthfeel was good the only thing i thought is it didn't quite have that creaminess to make it truly drinkable i am being critical here but it was a little bit too acidic in the carbonation
overall very solid and could have definitely drank a few more but there were too many good beers at barcade to try haha

Bronze in colour with minimal carbonation and small, rapidly shrinking head that left little to no lacing. Smells both buttery and tangy, along with a deep underlying sweetness. Thin on the palate, with a brisk graininess and some hops rushing in to develop the mouth and carry the flavor. Finishes with a dull, lingering bitterness. Not at all a bad beer, but nothing to write home about.
