Appearance: Out from the hand pump arrives this cloudy dark amber brew with a fluffy head and loads of lace descending down the side of the glass
Smell: Smells like a nice ruby red grapefruit
Taste: Layered on top of the sweet malt base is an extremely fruity hop blast; I've tasted other IPAs with a nice grapefruit profile, but this one is compellingly different - I'm getting other sweet citrus flavors; I start thinking about the sweetest oranges I have ever tasted and then it dawns on me - minneola "honeybell" tangelos
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate level of carbonation; this is only the second cask conditioned IPA I have tasted but it doesn't have any of the flatness that I experienced in my previous sample
Drinkability: Complex and fruity; just wonderful!
