Ale brewed with sea salt as well as lemon and lime juice.
Squeeze it. Salt that rim. We're talking about that Sixpoint Salty Tango with a twist -- the tangy waves of JAMMER® with just the right amount of lemon and lime juice. Time for some Vitamin J.
This 125 calorie beer is made with all natural ingredients and real juice. Drink it ice cold from sea level to snow caps.

The lightly hazed dark golden or light orange colored beer pours out into a Duvel glass with a 1/2” white head that soon recedes to a thin irregular layer and island on the surface of the liquid. There is a wide ring of foam on the sides of the glass that slowly gets thinner but doesn't really disappear. Sipping creates arches, lots of small patches of lacing and a few small legs of lacing.
The light aromas include a touch of saltiness, some coriander, some graininess and a lot of lemon-lime.
The flavors are similar to what is expected from the nose but with the salt and lemon-lime more forward, some tartness and a light, grainy sweetness. The coriander shows in the background where there is also a light herbal bitterness.
The mouthfeel is on the light side of medium bodied and fairly smooth with the light carbonation. The fairly long finish begins fairly soon as the sweetness recedes to allow the tartness to move more up front before it moves way into the background to leave the dry ending to the spice from the coriander and a of herbal bitterness.
On the whole a reasonably refreshing beer and I’d enjoy having another. This is a good beer for a hot summer's day or to have available for guests at a party. While less tart and salty than some other examples of Gose I've tried it’s an enjoyable beer and that invites having another.

Aroma is Mountain Dew /citrus, wheat and a small hint of salt. The flavor is citrus/Mountain Dew, wheat/malts, mild salt/minerals and a slightly sweet/tart finish.

Big craggy head quickly recedes, leaving patchy lacing in its wake. Body is pissy pale yellow. Smells of tart candied citrus; rather reminiscent of Lemonheads. Taste follows, but the lime really comes through. Not overly sour. There's a briny quality on the mouth that is nice. 'Tis a wicked crushable summer beverage, which appears to be exactly what they were going for.

A thanks to the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of lime juice. Taste is lime juice, surprisingly mild tartness, a hint of salt. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

DATE: November 22, 2019... OCCASION: not in the mood to watch Lenape get smacked by Verona in the state sectionals, I take from the fridge something else I might not be in the mood for--a gose in November... GLASSWARE: Ommegang pokal... pours from its thin can a swirling, reasonably clear golden body that sports inconsistent, clustering bubbles... its head is swift in its descent, with a monkish quarter-ring at one end... lemon, white grape, lime, sour candy, light berry, and even lighter cracker malts... a reminder of summer... dry, reasonably smooth, and bubbly at the start... sharp at the throat, with a slight cloying experience... the lemon and lime merge with watermelon and berry to create a fruity punch that refreshes.... its malt base is negligible, but the salt implies cracker... Sixpoint usually does things right and well, and this is a refreshing gose that has some nuance, with competing flavors rewarding each sip.... solid... tart without punishment...
