Our zippy Spritzer formulation meets Sloop’s famous Juice Bomb IPA to form Spritzer Bomb. We married three hop strains into three wine varietals to create synergies and a complex profile: Citra’s potent passionfruit notes blend with Sauvignon Blanc. Then we took Enigma’s pungent tropical complexity, to stack up to Gewurztraminer, and the lush peach notes in Moscato pair beautifully with Vic Secret’s soft tropical character.

Pours a bright hazy orange with a golden tint with a nice frothy white head full of small bubbles.

Tons of peach and mango right up front with a beautiful supporting white wine note. Pineapple and pear come out more with warmth, and a slight hop bitterness towards the end.

Fruity deliciousnessness slaps your tongue the instant the sip enters your mouth. The fruit becomes more pineapple forward in the taste. There’s a soft bubblegum that sneaks in on the front of the tongue and towards the end. Pear, mango, peach, and the grape juice note becomes more apparent as I drink more. The juice aspect is supportive to the hops, complimenting the flavors and aromas that the hops produce.

Really soft and smooth, full bodied for the style. Nice hop resin, a little bitter zing at the edges. Really comes together nicely.

Fantastic hazy IPA with a nice implementation of the grape juice. I appreciate the fact that there is the hint of bitterness around the edges, preventing the beer from being excessively soft or pillowy. Damn good beer – I wish I had another 6 pack of it!

Spritzer Bomb: White - Sixpoint feat. Sloop
NEIPA w/ white grape juice - 7.7% abv
Canned 7/19/18 (10 days ago)
Purchased for $18/6 at Sixpoint

L - 1/2 finger creamy white head atop an opaque yellow body.

S - orange, white wine, funk, pineapple, pine.

T - orange and white wine with tons of funk. Slightly tart. A bit of cheese and dirt. Low bitterness. Low sweetness. Low booziness.

F - medium body with appropriate carb.

O - the most funk I’ve ever experienced in a Sixpoint beer. Tastes barrel-aged although I’m pretty sure it’s not. More a sipper than a guzzler, but I’m quite enjoying the complexity of flavor.
