Draft at Stone Grille in York PA. Pours a handsome hazy deep amber with a persistent off-white head. Initial impression is grapefruit, lime, caramel, mango, pineapple, maybe some peach and a touch of pine resin. Lots of flavor. Mouthfeel is medium and sticky.Alcohol is almost completely hidden which, at 10.5%, is something to watch. Very, very drinkable. Finish is remarkably clean and refreshing.
I really like Sixpoint's Resin. I really really like Hi-Res. Growler might be better than both of them.

Tried this at Eli Cannon's in Middletown, CT. Came in a tulip glass with about a quarter inch of head. Rusty coppery color with a nice thin sheen of lacing. The aroma is floral and fruity and on the strong side. The flavor is dynamite if you like IPA's as I do. Very citrusy and even sweet notes. Nice IPA.

A: The beer is slightly hazy orange amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short off white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass and some lacing on the surface after it settled down.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grapefruit citrus and pine are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having light to moderate flavors of grapefruit and pine and just a slight bit of bitterness from the hops.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is deceptively drinkable considering its strength as you only start to get some hints of alcohol in the taste as the beer begins to warm up.
Serving type: can
