Tropical Jammer is the lushest of the Jammer’s, with juicy mango and pineapple giving an up-front kiss of sweetness balanced by just enough tang from the base gose.

Single can from a mix-6 at Wegmans. Pretty tasty, but too sweet and not as tart or salty as I would like in a gose (fruited or otherwise). The pineapple and mango are front and center. Not something I'm likely to purchase again.

Pale orange body with quickly disappearing head. Smell leans more toward mango, but there's some pineapple there too. Also some citrus; lime, in particular. Taste follows. It's incredibly fruity and juicy and I'm probably not the target demographic for this sort of thing, but what the fuck; it's real tasty. At least when really cold. Let it warm a bit and it tastes like a bowl of Fruity Pebbles with a weird dash of vanilla extract. Mouth is fresh and clean and mildly salty and, I believe, perfectly nails what they were going for. This is way better than I expected and I'll probably be reaching for more of these - especially if I see them at the same price (9 bucks for the mixed 15 pack). I think I'm starting to like goses; or at least the modern American interpretation thereof.

Welcome to my Happy CANtinuing New CANming Straight Outta The Bronx This Sunday, yo (Week 768) from Gun Hill & Heading for Brooklyn (Week 769)! It's a CANQuest (tm) thing.

From the CAN: "Beer is Culture"; "Tangy Session Beer w/Mango and Pineapple"; "Jammer's tangy waves lap at the shoreline while mangoes and pineapples grow sweet and ripe overhead. Introducing TROPICAL JAMMER, a lush, tart brew with supremely refreshing tropical fruit - talk about a desert island beer."; "This 125 calorie beer is made with all natural ingredients and real juice. Drink it ice cold from sea level to snow caps."

For my CANultimate beer of the evening, I beCAN with a Crack! of the vent, followed by a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. At this point, there was very little new under the Sun so I sat back & let it form just under two fingers of fizzy, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with minimal retention. Color was a hazy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7) with golden highlights. Nose was definitely tropical, but trending a little too sweet for my refined taste. ;=) Mouthfeel was kinda thin & watery, but such is the nature of the style. This was a bit tough - it was stylistically WAY outta spec, but at the same time, it was a pleasant drink with not quite enough salt to offset the tropical fruitiness. Points for innovation, but losses in terms of style, plus it needed more salt, IMHO. Finish was semi-dry, but that was more due to the salt than anything else. This was a strange little duck & my least fave of the three tonight. YMMV.

Tart aroma with hints of pineapple. Pours a hazy straw with no head. Mild tartness, light body, hint of mango and pineapple work well with the tartness. Another good twist on the Jammer.

12 oz can from egrandfield, poured into Odell Teku.

Golden honey colored with a creamy head of 1/2 finger, receding to a thin ring with slight lacing.

Aroma is of mango and pineapple icee treats, with hints of pilsner malt and general acidity.

Flavor is what I'd imagine mango and pineapple 7up would taste like. It's sweet but not too sweet, has a nice pilsner crispness and grassiness, a little salinity, and a little sourness. It's refreshing and tasty and easy.

Feel is a little starchy but mostly crisp, leaves a little residue on the tongue and palate. Crisp, cool, semi-clean.

Overall a very tasty Jammer that might not be the best but it sure ain't the worst.

Pours a very slightly hazed gold with rapidly dissapearing beige colored head. Zero head retention or lacing

S: Some pear notes, not much else

T: Passion fruit, guava, and mango up front, some dryness as well up front. Mango and pineapple as this warms. Finishes with
mango and pineapple, finally a little acidity, not near enough

MF: Medium body, crisp carbonation that fades quickly

Had good flavor, but was wanting some tartness or acidity to counter all the sweetness

12oz can into a pint glass. canned 4/4/19, best by 4/3/20, so 4 months old. last of the jammer session beers I tried yesterday.

A Hazy yellow with amber highlights body. Good carbonation. The small white head dissipates to a ring and solid covering, leaving a little lacing.

Very mild aroma, lightly citrus.

Not as tart as the other jammer beers. Good pineapple and non citrus (apparently mango) notes. A light saltiness as well.

Mouth between medium and full. finish lightly salty, the fruit mix, but also a little watery.

Overall, an okay beer, about in the middle of the jammer range.

From the can, it pours a slightly hazy amber with a nice white head that slowly dissipates. In the nose, it is tropical fruit forward. In the mouth, it is fruity and nice. Yum!
