12 oz can poured into a tulip glass. Well, it's a red grapefruit gose, plain and simple. The only surprise is the presence of bitterness like grapefruit rind and a slightly artificial taste. Decent but not a beer I'll seek out again.

12 oz can from Consumers Beverage. Pink-orange cloudy color, flat. Citrusy aroma leaning hard on the tangerine. Grapefruit a bit more apparent in the taste. A nice citrusy blend, goes down easy and quenches the thirst.

It's like the other Six Point Jammers - just with grapefruit and tangerine. Pours a vaguely cloudy orange... I think. It's getting dark and I'm not turning on the lights cuz I just don't give that big of a fuck. Smells exactly like the others: Fruity Pebbles in a glass. Tastes... hoo-boy, a little gnarly. Maybe like a light screwdriver (that's vodka and orange juice for the uninitiated) mixed with a greyhound (that's vodka and grapefruit juice with a salted rim for the uninitiated) with something kinda funky going on in the background. Leftover jungle juice the morning after a frat party, maybe. This is easily the most bitter of the Jammer line, but probably nothing out of the ordinary for your average IPA swilling Beer Advocate reader. Personally, I'm not crazy about this particular offering, but its 4% ABV and 125 calories, so what the fuck... I'll force it down with little regret.

12 oz can. Pours a slightly hazy to the medium golden pour, quickly dissipating bubbly off-white head. Aroma is slightly tropical in nature with some mango accents. Fruit forward flavor with some apricot sourness, some peach fruitiness and some underlying Ruby red grapefruit bitterness. Mouthfeel has a nice pleasant texture to it.

Welcome to my Happy CANtinuing New CANming Straight Outta The Bronx This Sunday, yo (Week 768) from Gun Hill & Heading for Brooklyn (Week 769)! It's a CANQuest (tm) thing.
From the CAN: "Beer is Culture"; "Tangy Session Beer w/Grapefruit and Tangerine"; "The grapefruit is a hybrid fruit ... a rare gem formed through an accidental crossbreed. I was becoming ever-more anxious to get this one started since the previous one was just so good & so memorable. I have really come to embrace Goses since their saltiness reminds me of being out to sea in the Navy. I acCANdingly beCAN with a Crack! of the vent, followed by a slow, steady, C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It fizzed & Pop!ped to form a very brief finger of fizzy, foamy, rocky, eggshell-white head with limited retention. Color was a hazy Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9) with golden highlights. Nose was a reminder of just how much I like grapefruit. I was just a wee lad when my maternal grandmother inadvertently purchased CANned grapefruit juice instead of either orange or pineapple, which were her house's staples. She was going to return it for an exChANge until PapPap dissuaded her & opened it for us to have a taste. I made a tart face initially, but then I realized that I liked it MUCH more than the others. Soon, I beCAN lapping it up like it was mother's milk! I still really dig grapefruit. Here, the citrusiness was acCANponied by a wonderful saltiness to bring me to a state of bliss not achieved in a while. Yum! Its tartness was not over-the-top, but still quite discernible. Mmm. Finish was somewhere between semi-dry & dry. You make the call! Me, I'm readying my Summertime, beach-bound cooler with a load of these. YMMV.

Moderate tart aroma, with a touch of salt and grapefruit. Pours a nearly opaque pinkish-tinted amber, with a quickly fading head. Bright tartness, light body, and a touch of salt make this a very drinkable beer. If you're looking for a cross between a gose and a radler/shandy, this is a good attempt.

12 oz can from egrandfield
Zildjian K pint glass
Apr 2019
Hazy peach blush with a creamy head of 1/2 finger receding to a ring
Not much on the nose except for some salt and grain if the imagination is used
Flavor is very tasty, and refreshing! Nice bright citrus waves of juicy orange and ruby reds. Nice salinity balancing the sweet/sour aspect, it just comes together real nicely and Sixpoint does some of the best Gose beers in the world IMO.
Very crisp feel with a great coating of acidity and creaminess on the tongue. A bit painful in the belly but nothing too overwhelming.
Overall, another fantastic selection in the Jammer line up. Thanks Evan!

12oz can into a pint glass, canned 4/4/19, best by 4/3/20, so 4 months old. 3rd beer yesterday afternoon from the jammer 15 pack.
Thick dark apricot/orange juice body. small streams of carbonation. Small white head dissipates to a small ring, leaving zero lacing.
Very faint fruit juice aroma.
This variant is brewed with Grapefruit & Tangerine. There is initially a nice balance between the two, before the grapefruit asserts itself as the dominant flavor. The initial tanginess disappears rather quickly, which is fine with me. Nice drink.
Mouth a little above medium, finish a tart grapefruit wash.
Overall, not as good as Citrus Jammer, but a little better than the other variants.

Pours an effervescent & slightly hazed honey colored with a pinky of rapidly falling beige head. No head retention & lacing
S: Tart citrus, not much else
T: Grapefruit, dryness, lime, just a touch of salt up front. Tangerine shows as this warms along with a little salt & lime. Finishes sweet, tart & dry with plenty of citrus
MF: Medium body, subtle carbonation, nice balance of sweetness & tart
Great drinkability, the rest of the beer didn't check all the boxes, but I could drink the hell out of this right now
