Pours a murky orange color with a half-finger of antique white head. Nice lacing.
Big tart aroma with lemon and gin most prevalent. A kiss of cherry. Not sure if salt really has a smell, but the anticipation of salt is huge in this.
The taste is tart up front, joined quickly by a surprisingly toasty impression and overly salty backend. The aftertaste has some of that pleasant lemon and juniper with, again, just a little cherry.
Full bodied with zippy carbonation.
The lemon and juniper in this are great, but it’s much too salty, even for a Gose, and the “imperial” nature of this lends a bit more malt character than I appreciate in the style. If you don’t dissect it and just drink it, it’s still pretty good.

L - 1/2 finger fizzy head atop a near-opaque orange juice body.
S - orange, baking spices, trees, berries.
T - orange and lemon-lime candy. Gin, pine, mixed berries. Low bitterness. Moderate-low sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium body with appropriate carb.
O - hides its booze well, but there’s so much going on here its hard to process. Need Superspak to review this.
